GENERAL INFORMATION
The Tension Master™ TM314 QS Quad Sheave was developed for the communications industry to assist with the placement of fiber optic and coaxial cables, through sub duct or innerduct, in residential areas. The key advantage of the Quad Sheave is that cable pulls can be done directly from the pedestal, such as a CAD-6, and fed back into the pedestal to continue onto the next pedestal; thus, eliminating figure-eighting of the cable or setting a pulling unit at each pedestal.
The sheave was designed to set upn quickly over a wide range of pedestal sizes. The four adjustable supports and independently adjustable feet can be removed for storage purposes. The 24" or 30" diameter of the sheave wheel provides a safe pulling radius for most lightweight cables. The wheel is constructed of stainless steel for maximum strength and corrosion resistance. The frame is constructed of welded steel and the supports are galvanized to provide easy adjustment without binding.
